Lexington man arrested on multiple child exploitation charges – victim under 12
Lexington, KY–Austin Scott Holbrook, 22, of Lexington, was arrested by the Lexington Police Department on multiple child sexual abuse charges Tuesday, according to the Fayette County Detention Center.
Holbrook is charged with 1st degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 (one count), use of a minor in a sex performance (six counts), and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance of a minor (five counts).
According to FCDC, Holbrook was arrested out Tates Creek near Talon Winery. An LPD helicopter was in the area at the time.
The Lexington Police Department generally does not release information on ongoing criminal investigations. The arresting officer, Ofc. Jeffrey Chelf, works in LPD’s Investigations unit.
Holbrook is being held on $50,000 bond.
