A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with the shooting that occurred Monday on Ascot Park.
On October 6, 2025, around 6:35 pm, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Ascot Park for a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, they located a male victim who had been shot. The victim was taken to a local hospital with reported serious injuries.
During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as a 17-year-old juvenile. The 17-year-old was charged with Assault 1st Degree and Minor in Possession of a Handgun on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
