The Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide after the victim from this afternoon’s shooting on Centre Parkway succumbed to their injuries.
On Friday, November 7, 2025, around 2:50 pm, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Centre Parkway for a shooting with a victim. When officers arrived, they located a male victim in the parking lot of an apartment complex who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s name.
