One Charged With Lexington Universal Academy Bomb Threat

A juvenile has been charged in connection with the bomb threat that occurred at the Lexington Universal Academy. 

On November 14, 2025, around 9:45 am, officers were dispatched to the Lexington Universal Academy on Nicholasville Road for a reported bomb threat. As a precaution, the school was evacuated and searched. No hazardous devices were located and Personal Crimes Detectives continued to investigate the call. 

During the investigation, detectives learned that a 15-year-old juvenile called in the threat. They have been charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree.
